An Tain wins 2 awards. “An Tain, Darkness Descends” has won two awards over the last couple of weeks. We won ‘Best Celtic’ short at the “Ballinamore international film festiva”l in Sligo. And only last weekend we won ‘Best Editor’ at the 2nd “Underground Cinema Film Festival” in Dun Laoighre in Dublin.

Projects In Development
Hands on History
Phoenix Artz will be producing three short educational pieces called “Hands on History”. The brain child of Jude Stynes. In each episode we will follow a group of school kids on a school outing that magically takes them back in time to various historic periods.
Over the three episodes we will venture back in time to the 1916 Easter Rising in O’Connell street, the Napoleonic war and World War 1. In each adventure the school kids will be given the chance to meet these amazing individuals from history, and have one on one conversations regarding their life and adventures. And through these meetings learn of history, both Irish and international.
This production is at development stages and is in talks with the Laois Co.Council.
