This just in, “Duality” has just being nominated for ‘Best Screenplay” at the first ever “Underground Cinema” awards night. We at Phoenix Artz are delighted that “Duality” has being awarded this nomination, so fingers crossed we go all the way!! A big thanks to the panel at Underground for nominating us. On September 16th, Duality will be screened at the “Screen Cinema” in D’Olier street Dublin. It will be the first short to be screened as part of the Underground Cinema festival. This festival is open to the public and tickets are available on the night, priced 10 Euro.

SET DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION
The set as we see it here in its finished state is minus the set dressing, tables, chairs. and so forth. The various other set dressing pieces will be added at time of production. In the end it took 12 days, 100 lengths of timber, 700 screws, paint, glue and a lot of plain hard work.
In the final cut we will not only be shooting using this set, but also a scale model to further the over all size and scale. This will be accomplished by using compositing and green screen techniques.
