This just in, “Duality” has just being nominated for ‘Best Screenplay” at the first ever “Underground Cinema” awards night. We at Phoenix Artz are delighted that “Duality” has being awarded this nomination, so fingers crossed we go all the way!! A big thanks to the panel at Underground for nominating us.
And it don’t stop there!! no sir.
On September 16th, Duality will be screened at the “Screen Cinema” in D’Olier street Dublin. It will be the first short to be screened as part of the Underground Cinema festival. This festival is open to the public and tickets are available on the night, priced 10 Euro.

Projects In Development: An Tain the Ferdia
Music by Pat McCondochie Composer.
Composer/Actor Pat McCondochie (B.A Honors) has been writing and performing since his early teens. His most recent soundtrack can currently be heard touring Ireland in the highly acclaimed Niamh Gleeson play "The Mariettas".
As well as being nominated in this years Glammie awards as best actor of the year in a lead role for his performance in the Mike Leigh play "Ecstasy" with the Dylan Thomas Theatre, Pat recently starred in "Amid the Rubble" which won the award for best international short movie of the year in the Swansea Bay Film Festival and is set to screen at this years Raindance film festival.
At present Pat is in rehearsals for the stage production "The Canterbury Tales" directed Brian Willis, and in the future is looking forward to composing the soundtrack for the feature film “Vessel” by director/writer Noel Brady, as well as starring in the up coming feature film "Back Water" written and directed by Paul Bartlett, which is set to begin filming this summer 2010.
