An Tain wins 2 awards.

“An Tain, Darkness Descends” has won two awards over the last couple of weeks. We won ‘Best Celtic’ short at the “Ballinamore international film festiva”l in Sligo. And only last weekend we won ‘Best Editor’ at the 2nd “Underground Cinema Film Festival” in Dun Laoighre in Dublin.

A big thanks to all who worked on this film. The future is looking very bright for a film Titled “An Tain Darkness Descends”.

And it’s a wrap!! After what was a very long journey in film-making starting way back in 2006, we have finally finished our short film based on “An Táin”.

“An Táin, Darkness Descends” wrapped early at the end of January 2011, With post-production starting two days later. The final cut was delivered in late May 2011.

I would just like to say on behalf of myself and the Executive producer Stephen Gibson a heart-felt thanks to all the people who worked so hard on this production. I know it’s a cliché, but without the dedication and professionalism of all involved, this film would still just be a concept in my head.
